I found the boat I wanted in Tampa, called Rob and he was very informative. He had answers to all my questions and he got back to me quickly on the info he didn't know.
On very short notice, I took a trip to FL to test ride and survey boat and Rob coordinated everything at the marina so that ride and survey went smoothly and efficiently so I could catch a return flight. Once I located a hauler, Rob went out of his way to set up pricing on a travel lift which saved me a lot of time.
Rob was very responsive, very thorough and very accommodating He offered to help stow everything away on my boat prior to shipping , saving me a return trip to FL. Rob returned calls quickly, followed up in emails on details and kept everything on track as we closed the sale and shipped boat north.
All in all, Rob made the whole experience easy and quick. Thanks Rob!

My wife and I had been searching for our family's first boat on our own for about 12 months prior to meeting Rob. I searched online, as most people do, and saw a vast number of boats with various price points without any real identifier as to the reason for such a price disparity. As chance would have it, I found a boat I that looked promising which Rob was representing. When I called to inquire about it, Rob informed me it was sold, but would be happy to assist me with finding the right boat for my family and I. Rob listened to my "must have" list and proceeded to search for boats that matched. Rob went on trips with me to looks at boats including an all day adventure on a Saturday to Miami. A few months later we settled on a boat with Rob's assistance. Rob's experience and knowledge along with his patience to pass along that knowledge was extremely reassuring. Rob handled the paperwork, titling, surveys, appointments etc. Purchasing our first boat was possibly easier than purchasing a car. It should be noted that we never felt pressure from Rob to make a deal. In addition, subsequent to the deal closing, Rob has stayed in touch and has provided contacts to proven industry specialists that he has already screened or has had prior experience working with (including boat detailing, engine maintenance, carpet and upholstery fabricators, and canvas fabricators).

Purchasing a boat in Tampa while residing in Chicago can create many logistical and other issues. How do you arrange for the delivery of two new televisions and an ice maker for the new boat? Rob accepts delivery and stores the items until they can be installed. Who do I trust to pick $15,000 of marine electronics from West Marine while I’m in Chicago? Rob Buscaino. Who put together a reliable list of suggested repairs and delivered them on time and on budget? Rob. Need to find a reliable transportation company to ship the boat to Chicago? Rob knows a transport guy who can take care of you. Need a marine electronics expert to install your radar, auto pilot and chart plotter? Rob knows a guy at Suncoast who can complete the job flawlessly.
Finally, perhaps the single best piece of advice you gave me was advising me to slow the boat down after spotting a pod of dolphin. The screams of joy coming from my daughter’s mouth as six dolphins followed us around Tampa Bay on our maiden cruise would not have been possible absent your advice to slow down to “Dolphin Speed”. What a thrill!!!
